Netflix Selects Spot-On Actor for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the major clash isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Bentham. This character has the ability to transform into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that figure reinterpreted as non-binary, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action series, differing from the source material and animated series.
The new cast member will work alongside several other new cast members set to bring the group to reality, including chief Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the well-known actor, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the lineup as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.
Even though Bon Clay is a key figure of Baroque Works, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the third season. Given the next season set to cover the Little Garden segment, this marks a major departure in the placement of their first appearance, one that could indicate additional alterations to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the part. In addition to their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.
Netflix's live-action One Piece program is due to premiere for its second season on March 10, 2026.
