Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been earned on hard surfaces
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev won his initial trophy for 882 days with success over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult year, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and experiencing a setback at the American major.
The player's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and struggles with his service game in specific - resulted in him falling of the top ten and ultimately splitting with long-time coach Gilles Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, he has gradually progressed in the recent weeks - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over opponent Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court from that period of that year.
Victory also indicates the Russian has achieved 21 titles at 21 various competitions.
"For the first time I am participating in a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to get a trophy is particularly special," commented world number 14 Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my child Victoria, because the first title I got when my older daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had been defeated in his previous six finals, featuring in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and recurring outbursts on court had prompted commentators to question if his capacity to play at the highest level was concluded.
However the athlete has made changes in the past month, attempting to advance forward and perform aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
He recovered from a disadvantage in the first set against the difficult Frenchman, winning four of the last five exchanges to go ahead.
Both players traded break points in the middle set before the challenger, attempting for his initial professional victory, took control to create a third set.
The opponent rescued four initial opportunities in a close third set before the Russian broke to fifteen to close out the victory.
Fittingly, he earned the win with a point at the net area, with his opponent unable to handle a shot after over two and a half hours.
